our second time in barcelona, but this time hostal eden really wowed us on our anniversary. the thoughtful swan towels, chocolates, and card made the stay extra special. the clean room, daily sheet/towel change, and convenient location were definitely worth the price. the old stone floor and ornate ceiling added charm.

Location is great and 24h-reception speaks english
Noise from the street was loud. tv was some old 14" non-flat, not so quality. Also I missed wlan and fridge which would make it much more comfortable to stay.

The staff of the hotel was kind and welcome, location was excellent, directly in the center of the city.
Not all staff was understood English language, first 2 days hot water was absent, audibility was very high, linen of beds was not so clean.

I really enjoyed the charming decor of the hotel. The common areas were beautifully adorned with traditional Spanish tiles and vintage furniture, giving it a cozy and inviting atmosphere. This made it feel like a home away from home for senior people like myself. The hotel also had easy accessibility for seniors, with ramps to enter and exit the building and elevators to access the different floors. It made navigating the hotel much easier and more comfortable.
The only thing I would ask for to make the vacation better for senior people is if the children working there could be a bit more attentive to our needs. It would be helpful if they could offer assistance with carrying luggage or provide extra support when needed.

Location.
No elevator, no hot water in some rooms, no dryers in some rooms, staff is not friendly, you feel like nothing works. Terrible place, believe me.

Hostel is perfectly situated. Close to the top of La Rambla, metro station... I'd recommend to get off the Airport bus at Plaza Universidad, it's closer than from Plaza Cataluna. Stuff if friendly, terrace is great. For people, who want to discover the city and not spend all day at the hotel, it's perfect. Others will complain always :-)
We were completely satisfied, but it´s the fact that the lift doesn´t work, drink machines give warm and not cold drinks (not talking about coffee, we didn´t try that :-)), computers were shut off and didn´t seem to be used. ;-) The beds are not comfortable but within 4 nights you can survive. Take with you ear plugs, rooms situated to main street (as ours) have a lot of noise and you also hear sounds from neighbour rooms.

Great location with plenty of restaurants, bars, and shops nearby. Short walk to the metro and train stations. Friendly staff and convenient lockers for luggage. Clean and comfortable room and ensuite bathroom. Thoughtful anniversary celebration with towel swans, card, and chocolate. Good value for the price.
Felt very at home, no complaints.

Not bad for price
Very loud traffic due to location.

Extremely basic, but expected in this price range.
Very uncomfortable mattress and, above all, extremely noisy. I had a room next to the reception and I had to put up with the shouting of the staff from early in the morning.

Perfectly located in a beautiful district with easy accessibility. Surprisingly, there are many Russian speakers here, making it a great choice for fellow Russians. The staff is friendly and available, and the rooms are comfortable and clean, equipped with all necessary amenities. A supermarket and restaurant are conveniently situated nearby. The hostel also offers a terrace, free Wi-Fi, a TV room, a lift, and even allows pets. a fantastic stay!

Conveniently located near Placa Catalunya and Casa Batllo. The room had all the essentials including a comfortable bed, bathroom, fridge, TV, safe, balcony. The hotel was clean and provided fresh towels daily. The 24-hour reception allowed for flexible access. Good value for the price paid.

Great location and reasonably priced. Staff available 24/7.
The double room was only big enough to sleep two people, not move around. Cleanliness was lacking, but we did receive clean towels every day.

Location. The rest was just horrible.
Rooms were depressing. Windows overlooking drainpipes or no windows at all. Uncomfortable beds.
